If you’re wondering how New Yorkers stay cool in a heat wave, it’s not that hard. Lots of popped water plugs and window AC units. We’ve got rooftops, too. I used to be able to see the Macy’s fireworks from my rooftop in Queens, but someone put a big ol’ building in the way. So now I mostly see the fireworks set off by amateurs up the street.
